Yes. 4KShot is free to install and includes Visible Area, Full Page, Selected Area, Original Resolution, basic screenshot preview and standard download features. Optional PRO features require a paid license.
PRO adds 2K Capture, 4K Capture, Scrolling Full Page, Live Annotate and Screenshot Preview annotation, plus future capture features explicitly marked PRO.
Original uses the webpage at its current native browser pixel density. PRO 2K and 4K workflows use higher-density browser-rendered capture rather than simply enlarging a finished lower-resolution screenshot.
Selected Area uses a frozen selection workflow to reduce hover changes and accidental interactions while you choose the capture region. Browser security restrictions can still limit extension behavior on protected pages.
After purchasing PRO, open the 4KShot extension, go to the PRO section, paste your license key and select Activate. The extension validates the license before enabling paid features.
Your license key is delivered through the Dodo Payments purchase and licensing flow.
The allowed activation count depends on the live PRO entitlement configuration and the purchase terms shown when you buy PRO.
Use the billing or subscription management option provided with your Dodo Payments purchase. Contact support if you cannot locate it.
If a PRO subscription is no longer valid, paid features can stop remaining active after license validation. Free functionality remains available.
The current capture workflow processes screenshots and annotations locally in the Chrome extension and does not upload screenshot images as part of normal capture.
The current extension supports PNG, JPG, WebP and high-quality PDF export.
